This publication is compiled as part of the SSI service, run by the Society. The book contains the data and a description of the methodology used to calculate each authority's Local Government Finance Settlement, together with 'class-level' summaries. This edition is the first to cover a three-year settlement, detailing the calculations behind 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11 Formula Grant allocations.
The 'SSI: A Guide to the Four Block Model 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11' publication is now available as a hard copy along with accompanying electronic versions of the key tables (supplied in Excel 2000). Minor changes to 2009/10 and 2010/11 Provisional Settlements will also be provided electronically.
